The third Valleys’ Heritage Tour took place on Sunday 27th July 2008. Our two previous tours raised over £7,500 for charitable causes and we hope that, with your support, this year’s event has taken us beyond the £10,000 mark.

We began our journey near Blackwood and travelled through the hidden delights which have helped to shape and define the character of the South Wales valleys. A buffet and awards ceremony was held at the award winning Llancaiach Fawr near Nelson to complete the days event.
En-route the tour visited the following places of interest:
- Brecon Mountain Railway
- Caerphilly Castle
- Castel Coch
- Llancaiach Fawr Manor House
- Penderyn Whisky Distillery
- Rhondda Heritage Park
Photos of this year's entrants can be found on our Tour Photos page. We hope everyone enjoyed the event. Please make any comments you have on the tour or the website in our guestbook.
